The BMW 1 Series M Coupe may have had a rather difficult gestation – certainly in terms of its name – but it’s making its presence felt now it’s here. Earlier this month we had a video of the 1M Coupe playing ‘Hole in the Wall’ on a desert road with concrete blocks with 1m Coupe cut-outs. All CGI, but very entertaining nonetheless.
As the winter takes grip on the northern hemisphere, CDN travel to Coventry, the birthplace of the British car industry – and many a car designer – to catch up with this year's MA Automotive Design and Vehicle Interiors students for their biannual exhibition, held in the city's impressive Transport Museum. Last week Citroen started to tease a new SUV heading for the Beijing Motor Show, which we thought would be the DS X7. But is seems Citroen has thought better of using a moniker like ‘X7′, so it’s changed the handle for its Chineses SUV to Citroen DS 6WR, but it’s still a production version of the Wild Rubis Concept and still the first production DS SUV. albeit only for China – at least for starters.
